Kristin O’Connor

223 Jay Street, Suite 102

Kristin O’Connor’s paintings explore the role of beauty in female identity by creating a dichotomy of seduction and repulsion. Her recent images of salivating, lipstick-lined mouths assert a symbiotic relationship between pretty and ugly, while contemplating the dark side of manufactured beauty.

She graduated with a BFA in Painting from the University of Tampa in 2013, and received her MFA from the New York Academy of Art in 2015. She lives and works in Brooklyn.
