Vivian Scott will be showing new large canvases plus many smaller works. Her colorful abstract acrylics provide the viewer with a perceptual experience, unfolding as the eye passes in and out of the painting space, sensing connections and relationships between parts.

Exhibitions include solos at the James Yu Gallery in SoHo and another at SUNY Oswego. Numerous group shows around the country. In 2003 Scott exhibited her work with Stephen Woodburn at SK417 in NYC.

A graduate of Indiana University , MFA 1964, Scott has taught at Western Michigan University, the Oswego NY Art Center and at International Art Workshops in Montreux, Switzerland; Innsbruck, Austria; and University of Hawaii.
