Laura Karetzky has maintained a studio practice in Dumbo, since 1997. Her paintings depict a conjunction of simultaneous narratives that are constantly in flux. Recent solo exhibitions include: The Dallas Art Fair, Dallas, TX (2022); Luis De Jesus Los Angeles, CA (2021); Elizabeth Houston Gallery, New York, NY (2019) and BRIC | Arts Media House, Brooklyn, NY (2016). Recent group shows include: The Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery, Washington, DC (2022) and The Muskegon Art Museum, MI (2023).
