Lili Chin is a visual artist based in New York City. She works with a variety of media including video, film, clay, metal and found objects. Her work explores personal and cultural archives, along with natural forms, intuitively connecting disparate objects in across space and time. She is inspired by collections of nomadic, fragile and historic objects, with an innate desire to salvage and reconstruct significance from vanishing landscapes and ancient systems.
