Mark Tribe is an artist whose recent work explores the relationship between landscape and technology. His “photographs,” installations, films and performances are exhibited widely. He has received several grants, and is the author of two books and numerous articles. His work has been reviewed or discussed in many publications. Tribe chairs the graduate program in Fine Art at SVA in New York City. Previously, he taught at Brown, Columbia and Williams. He started Rhizome in 1996 and ran it through 2003.
