Pelenakeke is a current BRIClab artist in residence. During her residency she has invited a group of artists to share studio space and explore how the residency space can be a resource for disabled artists in New York City. Artists who are part of this collective are: Finnegan Shannon, Sef, Dominic Bradley, Joselia Rebekah Hughes, and Pelenakeke Brown. This residency is grounded in the Samoan concept of the va which explores relational space. You will see a mix of works from each of the participanting artists.
