Center for Cuban Studies/Cuban Art Space

We are proud to present a new exhibit celebrating the vibrant works of contemporary Cuban women artists. Featuring paintings, sculptures, and mixed media pieces from over a dozen artists based in Cuba, this collection offers a glimpse into the creative visions emerging from this Caribbean nation. The exhibit reflects the diversity of styles and themes found in Cuban art today, with abstract explosions of color living alongside quiet figurative scenes. United by their Cuban roots yet unique in their individual expressions, these women artists challenge expectations and prove the power of art to cross borders. We hope you will join us to discover these compelling new voices that represent the future of Cuban culture
